Kenya 2009 Meeting Report

Again we thank God for the great work He is doing in Kenya and Uganda. Bro Mark from our Caloundra congregation and myself were humbled by the precious work that has been doing through His ministers in Africa.

We were only in Kenya for two weeks and held meetings in Nairobi with Bro Geoffrey. He lives in the Kibera slums and with the Lord's help establishing a Church of God congregation there.

From Nairobi we travelled to West Kenya and held meetings at Mt Elgon, Webuye and Kitale with Bro Erastus and Bro Stephen and many ministers and leaders from congregations in the Mt Elgon, Webuye, Kitale and Uganda regions.

We also visited local congregations, helping the congregation in Naitiri purchase roof sheeting to clad their chapel
Mission Africa

We have been visiting and preaching in Africa since 2005. God's hand has moved mightly in that time with many congregations having been raised up in the Church of God in Kenya, Uganda and now Rwanda.
Donate A Motorbike
Many of the congregations of the Church of God in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania are in remote country areas. The access is on dirt roads and tracks with little or no public transport
Donate A Laptop
We in the western world take much for granted. We have computers, laptops and now mobile phones with Bible programs. The ministers that we are working with in Africa have no such things.
