It is exciting for us here in Caloundra, Australia, that through the medium of Internet we can share the goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ with you. The congregation at Caloundra pray that we can be a blessing to you through our web site. We seek only to help and at all times our purpose is to lead you and direct you to Jesus Christ who is our ever present help, able to meet our every need.

We are a congregation of the Church of God which traces its visible beginning to the arrival of the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, as promised by Christ on the day of Pentecost. We are neither a part of any denomination, nor are we protestant. Our claim to citizenship in the Kingdom of God as members of the Church rest solely on regeneration and sanctification through the atoning and cleansing blood of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

In this, the day of the “voice of the 7th angel”, God is gathering His people out sects and denominations into ONE body in preparation for not only of His second and final coming, but also the final and total defeat of “Mystery Babylon the Great, The Mother of Harlots”.

God is calling His own out of the “dark and cloudy” day, on the way called holiness, into the EVENING LIGHT.

Zechariah 14:6-7 And it shall come to pass in that day, that there shall not be light; the bright ones shall withdraw themselves: but it shall be one day which is known unto Jehovah; not day, and not night; but it shall come to pass, that at evening time there shall be light.

Membership to the Church of God is established only through personal repentance from sin, and faith in Christ as our divine Redeemer. People who experience Salvation live sin free lives in holiness and peace with God.

The Church of God has but one Head, Jesus Christ our Lord and King, our ever present Help and Redeemer. He exercises His authority and power in the Church through the Holy Ghost, who appoints local congregational leaders in the form of pastors, elders, bishops, or the Ministry.

We believe totally in the priesthood of each and every believer and thus the Ministry is but an office of servant-hood ordained by God to direct you to the only One worthy of all praise, honor and glory, Jesus Christ.

We believe that Ministry in the Church is by Christ's ordination and not the vote of the congregation. It is only God who appoints and ordains.

Further, we hold the belief that God allows female ordination to leadership in the Church. Paul clearly taught that in Christ there was no gender. Every regenerated believer irrespective of race, position, status or gender is equal in the present Kingdom of God.

Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

The true Church is not Roman Catholic, Protestant or Pentecostal. It is not sectarian or denominational, but a divine entity established on the Earth by Christ in A.D. 33.

Jesus said in Matthew 16:18 ……I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Not only did Jesus build His Church, He named her after Himself: the Church of God.

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Galatians 1:13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

The Church of God revealed in the Bible is a singular spiritual entity purchased by the blood of Jesus which came from God.

Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

We are living in the time of the Evening Light; God is calling His people out of sectarian and denominational groups and bringing them back to Zion….

Hebrews 12:22-23 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Back to Zion on the highway called holiness ….

Isaiah 35:8-10 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

This is the day of the restoration, the 7th Trumpet is sounding calling all to forsake man-made religion, also called Babylon, back to the Church called after His name.

John 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

More often than not when anybody makes an enquiry about our congregation, one of the first things they want to know is our doctrine or faith statement. Over time we have come to the conclusion that most who make this enquiry are not genuine, but simply trying to find a place that lines up with their doctrine or belief.

For all the years we have had an internet presence we have always included a full doctrinal statement, however as the years have passed that doctrinal or faith statement has changed. We began to realise that truth is symbolised by light and thus we should be ever increasing in revelation and understanding of the Word of God.

When you survey even the various Church of God websites and study their doctrinal or faith statements they have subtle differences. All this really tells us that these lists for the most part are man's feeble attempts to describe the revelation of Jesus Christ to the carnal mind.

The Church of God does not need her own faith statement, but the doctrine of Christ: the Word of God.

The mark of a true believer is both forgiveness and deliverance from sin and a walking in the light as Christ is in the light. On that basis we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son cleanses us from all sin.

The mark of a true believer is one who will follow Jesus whithersoever He leads. That destination is always Mt Sion. Jesus best summed up by saying

Matthew 22:36-40 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Love is both the fulfillment of the law and the basis of fellowship one with another.

If you listen and study the messages on our website you will soon discover that we know Jesus and are following His Word.
